What is the ACL?

The Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) is a ligament that helps provide stability in the knee, connecting the femur and tibia. Tearing your ACL is extremely common, especially in sports such as soccer, basketball, football, and volleyball. The ACL may be fully or partially torn, but in both instances reconstruction surgery is necessary.

"The comeback is always greater than the setback."
